Kodykoala Customs
Kodykoala's Custom Portal Chell Pinky Street
I recently did a few custom Pinky Street figures, and it got me inspired to make a few more. Here is the first, Chell from Portal. I love Portal, and I really wanted to make a tribute to the game and the creators of an awesome series.
I used a few Pinky Street figures and Apoxy Sculpt to make the main figure. The companion cube was actually made from a portal ice cube tray and resin. The turret and cake were things that I had lying around that I thought would fit the theme.

Kodykoala's Avenger Card Holder
Check out my latest commission, an Avengers business card holder. I used hero squad figures and a business card holder. The hardest part of this was I had to cut the arms off of the Hulk, and sculpted the arms to make it look like he was holding the holder. If you are interested in a custom business card holder, please email me at donald.c.kennedy2@gmail.com If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page.
Kodykoala's Jake Suit 2.0
What time is??? It's adventure time!!! I am a huge fan of adventure time, and I thought I would make a few customs based on the show. My first is this Jake Suit 2.0. I know in the cartoon, the original Jake suit is a beefy body suit, but I wanted to do something a little more futuristic. Jake can turn into a car, and bulldozer, so why not a mech suit.
I used a Playschool Lex Luthor Battle suit, and a McDonald's Finn and Jake to put this together. I had to smooth out some of the details of the original Mech to make it fit more with the cartoon.
If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. I actually have a buyer lined up for this, but if it falls through, I will post it to My Etsy Store. I also have a bunch of my old customs for sale there too!
Kodykoala's Bionic Ursula
I love classic Disney movies, and the Little Mermaid was one of my favorites. I know I usually do video games, but I decided to change it up a bit and do one of my favorite villains Ursula. I wanted to give her a more futuristic look, so I gave her bionic legs.
I have actually been looking for her legs for a long time, and finally something came up at my local thrift store. I don't know what series the vehicle came from, but it worked beautifully with the torso. The torso was from a stuffed Ursula that I also found at the thrift store, and the arms are from my parts bin.

Kodykoala's Custom Minion R2D2
I saw this on a T-shirt by Warbucks Design and I knew I had to turn it into a figure. I used a cheap R2D2 Valentines Day candy dispenser and a McDonald's Happy Meal Minion toy. The build took about an hour and the paint job was about 5-6, so total build time was less than 10 hours. I love quick customs like this, and it proves that you don't need expensive toy parts to make a cool looking custom.

Kodykoala's Ganon Mech
After making my Link 20X6 figure, I thought it would be cool to make a Ganondorf figure that would go well with him. Link's Mech was more utility than power, but Ganon would want the most powerful Mech he could get, so I made it big and buff. I also included a lot of the classic markings from Ganon's tribe to keep it looking more authentic.
I found an old Ganon figure, but the articulation wasn't great, so I basically took the head and used the body from a Hulkbuster IronMan. I also used apoxy sculpt to do some filling in and adding the cloth elements on the mech.
If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. I am still on the fence about selling this one, but when I decide to let this go, I will post to My Facebook Page.
Kodykoala's Giant Bowser
I don't typically work with figure this big, but when I saw there was a giant Vinyl Bowser, I had to think of something to do with him. I was thinking Mech at first, but the pose and Articulation of the figure did not fit well with a Mech, so I decided to make him in a classic situation with Princess Peach. This figure stands almost 10 inches tall and is actually part of a bigger piece that I haven't had time to finish, so I thought I would at least show the figure that will be part of it.
The Princess is actually a mixture of three different figures. I had a vinyl Princess peach that I used for the head, a Nami One Piece figure for the legs, and a Onegai Teacher Anime figure for the torso and arms. This took me forever to finish, but the results were really cool. Hopefully I will be able to finish the rest soon.

Kodykoala's Princess Peach Wrecking Ball
I thought it was about time I did another contest. This time it is really easy to enter and win. All you have to do is go to My Facebook Page and Like my page and share the post with my Princess Peach Wrecking ball figure. This contest is open to anyone, including overseas and foreign. Just pass the word on about My Facebook Page and share My Picture. Contest ends on May 15, 2014.
The original idea for this came from My Brother. I also took inspiration from TheBourgyMan on Deviantart and ktn305 on Deviantart. I sculpted the base and back, except for the question blocks. The figure is an anime figure with a Princess Peach head. I used a LEGO chain and a hollow sphere that I quartered and filled with Apoxy Sculpt. The base and figure stands about 8 inches tall.

Kodykoala's Custom Kaos Snow Globe
Kaos is the big baddie in all the Skylander Games to date. I figured that a good way to keep him contained and not doing bad is to trap him inside a Snow globe. Luckily he has a thick robe to keep him warm, because I am pretty sure it will get cold in all that snow :)
I used a Kaos Happy Meal toy, a 3DS portal, and some color changing LEDs to make this awesome globe. I really love Kaos, it is just a shame that there are not a whole lot of toys with him. Maybe in the next Skylanders....
If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. I am currently not selling this, but I am going to be putting up something on My Etsy Page to get a custom Snow Globe Made, so please keep an eye out.
