Kodykoala Customs
Kodykoala's Plants vs. Zombie Kart
Can Zombies drive cars? I am not sure they have the motor skills to drive, but if they did, it would make an awesome kart game. Here is what I would imagine a Plants vs. Zombies Kart style game kart would look like. Popcap should totally make this. I have some really good ideas for what the other cars should look like also. Kodykoala's Zombie Wario
Zombie Wario ready to terrorize your neighborhood after what look like a night of forks and marshmallows. I figured he loved to eat, so I would make it seem like he turned while he was in the midst of a kitchen adventure of some kind. I use a vinyl Wario, skeleton parts that I had in my parts bin, some marbles for the eyes, and some plastic Re-Ment silverware. The guts and brains were sculpted from Apoxie sculpt. I love the way his eyes bulge from the sockets just a little bit... ;)

Kodykoala's Battle Damaged Protoman II
Here is my latest commission. They wanted a Protoman to go with the Battle Damaged Megaman that I had made for them previously. Since I had already made a damaged Protoman, I had to come up with a different pose and damage for this figure. I wanted to give this one a more offensive pose than the previous one, so I made him shooting his blaster.

Kodykoala's Hungry Hungry Koopas II
I have finally finished my big commission, Hungry Hungry Koopas II. I was trying to figure out a way to make another one without repeating what I did with the first. Here is what I came up with. I decided to make it with the remaining Koopa Kids to make it different and I painted the marbles to look like fireballs.
Since I don't have anymore Koopa Kids to use, this will be the last Hungry Hungry Koopas game I will be making. If someone has a good idea for another version of Hungry Hungry Hippos, I will be willing to try, but I think I am done with Koopas for now.

Kodykoala's Princess Peach Relaxing
A Princess needs time to unwind and relax, and what better way than to take a dip in a lake. Unfortunately, she has some unwanted on-lookers. Is this another reason they are called Shy-guys?
For this piece, I used a Princess Peach head, an anime figure body, Lego bushes, and a couple different Shy-Guys. I have actually had this on my cutting board for quite a while, but I finally got around to finishing it. If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. I will be selling this at Albuquerque Comic Expo, and anything that does not sell at the con will be available on my website and on etsy.
Kodykoala's Custom Bowser's Battle Suit
I love going to Goodwill. I find all kinds of toys that I would not normally get to make customs out of. This is an example of that. Now, before anyone gets mad that I cut up an N64 Mario Kart Bowser figure, I need to tell you his story. I found this guy in a bag of mixed figures. I saw the shell and knew that it was a great find, but I didn't realize that it did not have arms, or looked like it had been chewed by a dog. When I got him home, I took pity on him and decided to build him a working body.
I used an Iron Monger as the base, and I added a bunch of things to give it a mech flare. My favorite part of this is the little Bowser Jr. companion that flies around his head. The shell on his head was from some Japanese Koopa shell, and the feet are from a different Iron Man figure. I was trying to incorporate as much Bowser as I could in this figure, so I took some little shells from the Furuta Choco Egg figures and made them into knee and elbow pads. The rest are just left-over parts I had.

Custom Zombie Hunter Nerf Gun
Here is my latest custom gun. This is a Zombie hunters dream, with a chainsaw for up-close attacks, and a sniper rifle for long range attacks. This is a fully functional NERF gun with a modified clip. The clip can hold 12 shots. I had to cut the clip down to make if fit with the form of the gun.
If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page I will have this for sale next month when I go to ACE (Albuquerque Comic Expo) and if it doesn't sell there, it will be posted here.
Custom Black Phoenix LTX
I found this gun at my local Goodwill, and I thought it would look great repainted. It was really scuffed up, but I only got if for a couple of bucks, so it was worth it. I used a Tiger Electronics Lazer Tag Phoenix LTX. This is still a fully functional gun with all the lights and sounds, the only thing is that the front no longer comes off. Kodykoala's Custom Gizmo Duck
I love Duck Tales, and my favorite character of all time from the series is Gizmo Duck. Gizmo Duck also made an appearance in Darkwing Duck. I have always loved the idea of having a suit that had all kinds of cool gadgets and gizmos at your disposal. This was a commissioned piece that I just finished. I was really excited to do this one, and I love the way it came out.
I used a DC universe Toyman figure, a Maisto Motorcycle, and the head of a Donald Duck Happy Meal Toy. The armor was sculpted and I put magnets in the body so that the extra arms could attack to the figure. The hands are Drossel figma hands that I put on the end of some LEGO pieces. I believe the guns are from a transformer that I had in my parts box.

Kodykoala's Custom Angry Birds Star Wars
Here is something that I thought would be a cute idea. I took the Angry Bird Star Wars figures and put them on the corresponding bodies. I originally just did it with the Darth Vader Pig, but it looked so funny, I thought I would do it with them all :)
