Kodykoala Customs

Kodykoala's Custom Mario and Zombie Luigi
I realized that I did not have a zombie scene with Mario in it. We all know that Mario would not get infected by any Zombie disease, but that is not going to stop zombie Luigi from trying to recruit is big bro. I wanted the Luigi to look almost exactly like the one that I did a while ago, and I had him attack his brother, but Mario was not unprepared. He comes equipped with a handgun, blade, and shotgun that is about to shoot off Luigi's head.
I used 5" vinyl figures and some weapons that I had lying around. The base was made with apoxy sculpt. If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. If you are interested in purchasing this piece, it is for sale in My Customs Store.

Kodykoala's Custom Toad Jedi
I found this awesome Yoda bath toy at the flea market and thought the body would be awesome with something else. The only character I had that was short enough to pull it off was Toad, so he was chosen. This one took me a little bit to fill in the holes and cracks from what I cut out. It went from being totally hollow to mostly solid. It stands about 5-6 inches tall.
If you would like to see more pictures, please go to My Flickr Page. I have also decided to put this one up for sale, so if you are interested, please visit My Custom Store.

Kodykoala's Custom Fire Megaman Mario
Lately I have been into mixing characters, and I wondered what Mario would look like wearing the Blue Bomber's Armor. Well here you go. I decided to make him have fire power because I liked the colors.
I used a Megaman vinyl figure, a Mario vinyl figure's face, and a Goomba for the Neomet. I sculpted the Goomba's head, and I used Apoxy Sculpt to fill in the holes in the figure. The figure stands about 6 inches tall

Kodykoala's Custom Kirby Eating Mario
If you were to google image search Kirby, one of the first images you see is Kirby eating Mario from Smash Bros. Well I took this idea and went with it. The only thing I added was a Mario hat to make it seems like he was gaining Mario's powers.
I used a vinyl Kirby from Japan and a vinyl Mario from a local Walmart. It was an easy custom, but I wanted to try something different with the painting. I wanted to play with the texture of the painting. The items stands about four inches tall and is about three inches in diameter. To see more pictures, go to My Flickr Page
I am trying something different this time around. I am going to try to sell my items via my own website instead of using others. I just want to see how well this works. This item is for sale for $132 shipped. If you are interested in buying this, please contact me at donald.c.kennedy2@gmail.com with you information and I will send you a Paypal request.

KodyKoala's Custom Cyborg Donkey Kong
Here is my custom Cyborg Donkey Kong. I have been wanting to do a Donkey Kong Custom for a while, but I have not been able to figure out what to do. I decided to make a Cyborg, taking my inspiration from Mario vs. Donkey Kong, hence the key in the back. I sort of wanted it to look like it had taken a bunch of battle damage trying to keep the Mario minis away.
I used a Donkey Kong Vinyl figure I got at Wal-mart, and the arms are from an Iron Monger Figure. The rest of the robot parts were left over parts and wires I had. If you would like to see more pictures, please visit My Flickr Page.

Kodykoala's Custom Zombie Hunter Toadette
After what Princess Peach did to Toad, Toadette has vowed to get even. She has collected a huge arsenal of weapons to tackle any Zombie threat, including the Pink Peach Horror!
As you can see, Toadette is ready for battle, and I couldn't resist making her look like the stereotypic Female Zombie Hunter. Yes, I gave her cleavage. I also tried to give her a post apocalyptic look with the goggles and weapons.
I used a Vinyl Toadette that I got off of Ebay and a bunch of Mario items I had left over from other customs I have done. The Zombie Shelter sign is from Cinda's Etsy Shop. This shop has a lot of cool nostalgic looking signs which are really cool. The concrete tiles are actually Lego 2 x 2 Tiles that were roughed up and painted. I am pretty much only posting this here and Flickr so that I can get some exclusive stuff. I decided not to sell this one because it came out way too awesome!
Lately, I have been trying to sell a custom on Ebay about once every two-three weeks, so keep an eye out here for new items on sale. To See more pictures, go to My Flick Page.

Custom Mushroom Kingdom Christmas Stocking Holder
Here is the next stocking holder to the one that I made last year. My goal is to make one for everyone in the family. This one is going to my wife, she loves Mushrooms, so I thought I would give her a Toad Christmas. I use a bunch of different Super Mario Figures, and the house is actually a Papa Smurf house that they had on sale at Toys r' Us. If you would like to see more pictures go to My Flickr Page. I have also updated the pictures for the one I did last year here.

Kodykoala's Custom Princess Peach Pinky Street
Here is my Custom Princess Peach to go with my Princess Daisy. I couldn't make one without the other. I know the colors are off, but I actually used my artistic license and decided to use a darker magenta for the accent colors because I liked the contrast. My favorite has to be the Chibi Toad Doll. If you want to see more pictures, go to My Flickr Page. Please leave comments and tell me what you think.

KodyKoala's Custom Mario Mech Vinyl Figure
Here is something that my brother and I have been talking about for a while. We thought it would be cool to have characters from the Super Mario Universe drive giant Mechs of themselves. I decided to do Mario first because, well, that is all they had at Toys'r'us when I went. I used a giant Mario Vinyl Figure and a Mario Keychain. For the Cock-pit, I used the pit from an Avatar Amp Suit. If you want to see more pictures, head over to My Flickr Page to see more pictures and a closer look at the cockpit. As always, I love constructive criticism, so let me know what I can do better.

KodyKoala's Custom Wario Action Figure
Here is what I think Wario would look like if he were an action figure. I found the base figure at a flea market, and the rolls made me think that he would make a good Wario figure. I never realized how feminine a guy could look with purple overalls, until I started to paint him. Luckily I was able to darken up the purple, and make it a bit more masculine. My favorite part is probably the mustache. I wanted a different style of mustache for this figure, and I thought that it would look cool to connect to the side burns.
